Better Health, Saved money on Pesticides:

I was initially little reluctant to shift to organic farming when I was approached for the first time by Sresta. After a few rounds of awareness building meetings by Sresta team, I was enthused to get into organic farming. Then I signed up with Sresta, undergone training programs on organic farming conducted by Sresta professionals and started organic farming in my 10 acres. After 4 years into organic farming, I am now a very satisfied farmer & a person. Organic farming helped me to save money which I used to incur on inputs (pesticides & fertilizers) while doing conventional farming. The money saved per acre ranges between Rs.2000 – Rs.3000 & this helped me & my family to lead a better life hence a happy person.
